About/History

Nu-System Surplus Co. was founded in 1950 by the owner’s grandfather Harry Simowitz. A Pawnshop was added in 1952. Since then we have operated as a 3rd generation family-owned business serving the entire CSRA. Our staff has a combined 100 years of experience with a wide range of items including jewelry, firearms, electronics, tools, musical instruments, video games, and much more. We have been pleased to serve the families of the CSRA for the last 70 years and look forward to serving the newest generation for the next 70 years.
